After working at a major high tech company in the Phoenix area for 11 years, Paul decided it was time to start his own business. The explosion of interest in the World Wide Web around the world led Paul to web site design and web-based application programming. His goal is to provide superior web sites and web-based applications.
Paul also spends his own time mentoring others on modern programming methods. He sends out software development "Tips and Tricks" emails to his subscriber lists on a number of topics such as PHP programming and database design.
Paul Balyoz Paul has a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science Engineering from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona, with an emphasis on communications systems. For over 19 years Paul worked in the high tech industry as a UNIX system administrator and a software developer. He is an expert in UNIX, Perl, HTML, SQL, PHP, Javascript and DNS. Before founding Fastech, Paul was employed by a number of companies in the high-tech industry including 11 years at Intel Corporation. He has shouldered many kinds of responsibilities:
Paul is a big proponent of open source software and technology. He has written a number of open source applications that are freely available on the Internet including Dlint and Domtools. Paul's hobbies today include mountain biking, dancing, woodworking, jaywalking and investing.
